After an already stellar run of releases these last few years, Texas-based singer-songwriter Jon22 is keeping the vibes high once again on his breezy new single 'Home Is Us (Nashville Edition)'.
Lifted from his forthcoming new album 'Muse', which is set to arrive soon, 'Home Is Us (Nashville Edition)' makes for a wonderfully rich and dreamy listen. With its warm and inviting textures perfectly elevating his wondrous vocal performance throughout, he is certainly a name to keep a firm eye on for the months ahead as well.
So with the new single available to stream now, we sat down with him to find out more about his origins and what has been inspiring him most lately.
I fell in love with music in the back of mom's 67 Thunderbird, listening to her favorite 8 track- The Beatles- Abbey Road. Mom played it so much the cover wore off!
As an artist, I write music that speaks from my heart and I enjoy having a hands on approach. I like to incorporate elements from the psychedelic rock era, experimenting with unique sounds and styles. On many of the tracks you will hear my wife singing background vocals. I'm blessed to work with her, as well as some of the best musicians and producers in Texas; Salim Nourallah, Chris Holt, & John Dufilho.
